What you’ll do

• Program CNC lathes and mills with Mastercam, meeting all print specifications.

What you’ll do

What you’ll do

• Load and unload parts in CNC machines and monitor each cycle, adjusting settings to keep parts in tolerance (training on machine offsets provided).
• Clean and lubricate machines: clear chips, check coolant concentration with a refractometer and top up coolant and water.
• Inspect parts in process with dial gages, bore gages, micrometers, attribute go/no-go gages and calipers (training provided).
• Recognize and report mechanical, electrical or software problems to your supervisor.
• Keep accurate records of machine settings, materials, parts produced and in-process inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE, including gloves, safety glasses and ear plugs.
• Take part in 5S: keep your machine, work area and inspection table clean, and gages, tools, fixtures and paperwork in their place.

What you’ll do
